myDevices Sponsors IoT Startup Competition in Vietnam

myDevices and Stream Technologies sponsor Vietnam’s annual IoT Startup competition organized by the Board of Management of Saigon Hi-Tech Park. This year’s competition was launched on Saturday 25th March. With over 400 participants from all over Vietnam competing for a top prize of 50,000,000 VND, the event will see nearly 100 IoT projects being developed in many fields ranging from wearable devices, smart cities, security, health, energy, farming and retail applications.

The competition’s goals:

– To attract the interest of the startup community and foster the development of IoT-based products.

– To incubate and establish new IoT startups.


  • When: The competition will run from March 2017 with winners being announced in October 2017.


  • Where: The competition will be launched across Vietnam, with the final round being held in Ho Chi Minh City.


Part of the sponsorship support being offered by myDevices includes the use of the award-winning Cayenne, which is a drag and drop IoT Project Builder. Cayenne is designed to enable developers to quickly design and prototype IoT solutions.

Stream’s IoT-X platform is also being made available for all IoT Startup participants to manage their connected devices for the duration of the event.
